ICMA NOMINATIONS 2026

In November, the International Classical Music Awards ICMA announced the nominations for their Awards 2026, celebrating the best musicians and recordings. Two Supraphon new recordings - Bohuslav Martinů: String Quartets Nos 2, 3, 5, 7 by the Pavel Haas Quartet, and Vítězslav Novák: Complete String Quartets by the Stamic Quartet, have been nominated for the ICMA Award in the Chamber Music category.

The nominations include many renowned soloists, ensembles, conductors and orchestras as well as a lot of young musicians, many of them being first-nominees. For the Awards 2026 the jury has nominated a total of 307 audio and video productions released by 101 labels from Europe, Asia and North America – 18 countries in total. The winners will be revealed on 13th January 2026.
