On 18 January 2020, the Belfiato Quintet received the Best Chamber Music Performance prize within the Classic Prague Awards for their interpretation of Antonín Rejcha's Wind Quintets. The album featuring these works was released by Supraphon in September 2019.
Classic Prague Awards, originated four years ago as the only classical music accolades in the Czech Republic, are presented every year in a number of categories. Any artist who has a demonstrable activity within the specific category in the respective year is eligible to apply for the Award. Carefully selected jurors ensure the quality of the laureates' work.
